ACCOMPLISHMENTS 2019-2024
2019 – Passed legislation continuing the privileges for professional medical quality review
2021 – Passed first major regulation of cannabis products since their legalization in 2014
2021-24 – Passed and Defended legislation protecting transportation network companies that transport children from overregulation.
2022 – Passed legislation recriminalizing the sale of fentanyl and other opiates
2022 – Passed major model legislation providing free recycling in Colorado
2022-24 – Passed legislation enabling and then providing funding for the establishment of a medical school at UNC
2023 – Led coalition to defeat the Governor’s campaign to overturn local control of land use
2023 – Passed legislation establishing the first adult high school in Colorado
2024 – Secured a legislative compromise on efforts to remove damage caps in lawsuits, saving healthcare and consumers billions of dollars
